Coolsculpting vs. Emsculpt

While both Coolsculpting and Emsculpt can help you achieve a more toned appearance, they are different in several ways.
Coolsculpting works to reduce fat in more stubborn areas of the body and helps to uncover the muscle definition you may already have. However, coolsculpting does not work to build muscle. However, Emsculpt works to build new muscle fibers in the body as well as working existing threads for a sculpted appearance. Essentially, Coolsculpting begins the process of fat metabolism and Emsculpt tones muscles.
The technology between the two treatments is also different. Coolsculpting uses cryo lipolysis. An applicator suctions the skin and fatty tissue into a controlled and cold temperature, which stimulates fat cells to die. Emsculpt uses high-intensity electromagnetic technology. This technology induces involuntary supramaximal muscle contractions in the area being treated. Although no fat cells are directly destroyed in Emsculpt, some patients may experience some fat loss due to increasing muscle mass because muscle is metabolically active tissue.
Although both treatments offer different results, they go hand in hand. To achieve the results of a slimmer and more toned body, it may be recommended to undergo coolsculpting treatments first to destroy fat cells in some areas and then using Emsculpt as a way to increase the toned muscle appearance.
As always, booking a consultation to be seen in person to see if you are a candidate for treatments is always a recommended first step. Consultations are free, lets us help you receive the best results.
