Dr. Barry Handler, M.D. is a board certified plastic surgeon in San Diego, California. He graduated from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 1989 and has been in practice for 30 years.

CHI NGUYEN - PRACTICE MANAGER, NURSE PRACTITIONER
Chi grew up in Canada and moved to San Diego in 1992 where she obtain her Cosmetology and Massage Therapy license. She worked as a hairstylist, esthetician/makeup artist and massage therapist at various salons,resort and dermatology offices. It was when working as an esthetician in a dermatologist office that she found her passion and interest in esthetic medicine. That lead her to return to school to get her BSN degree in 2007 and she has been an esthetic RN since then. She feels that her experience in the beauty industry has helped her become a better injector and skin care provider. She enjoys helping her clients look better not different and believes that continuing education is important as new and emerging techniques are being develop each year. All Med Lounge staffs attend yearly esthetic conference and receive regular hands on education to perfect their crafts in order to provide a safe, natural and pleasing result.
Genya Liff - FNP, BCNP
Genya Liff, is an FNP, and BCNP, with 20 years of rich experience in diverse areas of medicine. Upon completing her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Genya worked as a registered nurse in multiple hospital settings and departments, always providing exceptional patient care. Genya continued her education and successfully completed her Master’s degree in Nursing in 2002. She subsequently worked in areas of primary care, women’s health, and pain management. She was always passionate about helping people address signs of aging and well-being which brought her into her current area of specialization, aesthetic medicine. Genya has become an expert injector and has performed hundreds of laser treatments, micro-needling, fractional co2 laser and many other aesthetic procedures. Genya enjoys working closely with her patients to help them achieve their goals and takes great pride in seeing their visions come alive. She strives to educate and inform her patients at every step of the process to make sure they are completely comfortable and aware of what to expect from each procedure.
Carolyn Huynh CCRN, MSN, NP
Carolyn Huynh CCRN, MSN, NP (Board certified) is a Nurse Practitioner who completed her undergraduate work at SDSU and her postgraduate work from the University of Cincinnati. Carolyn has over 13 years of critical care experience and is very passionate about making her patients look and feel their very best, while providing professional, effective and safe treatments. She strongly believes that her artistic skills will bring her patients back to a youthful and attractive state. Carolyn‘s goal is not to just fill in the lines; she believes there must be a noticeable improvement after procedures that patients recognizes and appreciate.
TAVA - Esthetician, Hillcrest
Tava is a native San Diegan and has been a licensed Esthetician since 2011. After experiencing her own major improvements from having acne and sensitive skin, she was inspired to help others with her knowledge and own personal experience. Before making the career change to the spa industry, she worked as a restaurant manager. While there, her dedication to customer service easily transferred over to a new position as the front desk Receptionist at Beauty and Body Med Lounge. Today, she still enjoys helping clients at the front desk as well as helping clients with their skincare and waxing needs
Sara Smith - RN
As an experienced RN with more than 12 years in a Burn Intensive Care Unit at UCSD, Sara always knew she wanted to pursue her passion as a nurse in Medical Aesthetics. Sara is from Kentucky and obtained her BSN in 2005 and worked at Vanderbilt University, then moved to San Diego in 2007. Since beginning Aesthetic Nursing at BBML, she has become a Certified Injector for Toxins and Dermal Fillers, and loves to perform skin rejuvenating procedures with various laser devices. Sara enjoys meeting all her cosmetic patients and providing them with a unique combination of personal attention, knowledge, and technique in order to help create an improved natural version of themselves. Together with the excellent BBML team of Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses, Sara is continually learning the newest skin care treatments and modalities to achieve your aesthetic goals. As a wife and busy mom of two children, Sara still finds time to continue to learn and advance in aesthetics. She is committed to bring a smile to every patient while providing personalized procedures with a safe and effective outcome!
Natasha Khadir - Aesthetic RN
Natasha works in the medical field as both an aesthetic RN and also at the hospital as a neuro RN. She was previously working at the BBML front desk before obtaining her Registered Nurse license from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles. She is now on the medical side of the medspa, meeting with clients and consulting to achieve their beauty goals. She loves learning about the various aesthetic techniques that can be individualized for a person based on their desires. She plans to one day further her education and become a nurse practitioner.
Cindy Tran - Aesthetic RN
Cindy Tran, RN is a San Diego native with experience working at Sharp Hospital and in psychiatric, adult mental health. She obtained her BSN from National University and her Bachelor of Science in biology from SDSU. While also working as a certified makeup artist and hair professional, Cindy is dedicated to helping others embrace their individuality through her versatile expertise. This is a strong value as she has dealt with her personal history of acne and acne scarring – encouraging her to find a remedy while feeling in harmony with her whole self. Cindy exercises a unique ability in nurturing a sincere, comfortable, and detail-oriented approach supporting each client to feel like an elevated version of themselves – she is loyal to her craft and committed to refining her skill set every day!
Stephanie Sramek - NP, SOLANA BEACH
Stephanie Sramek is a Nurse Practitioner with a background in Emergency Medicine and is excited to be a part of aesthetic medicine. She obtained her undergraduate degree from UCSB in 2006 and went on to attend Azusa Pacific University in 2014 obtaining her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. With over a decade in acute care experience, Stephanie is passionate about providing individualized and natural results to optimize each client’s aesthetic needs and physical beauty. As a working mother of two, she understands the need to take care of yourself first so you are best able to care for others.

Alana Tally Front Desk & Marketing Manager
Alana is a recent graduate from San Diego State University, and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. She has worked as a secretary for Dr. Handler, and a front desk coordinator for Beauty and Body since 2019. Alana has always found an interest in the beauty industry, and loves being able to use her marketing degree in the esthetics field. Alana is passionate about coordinating the marketing aspects of Beauty and Body.
Jaclyn Zkharin, Front desk coordinator
Jackie Zakharin is a fourth year Pre Physician Assistant Student at San DIego State University. She has always been passionate about working in the medical field and loves making people feel beautiful! She aims to become a cosmetic/reconstructive PA and feels that Beauty and Body gives her the perfect opportunity to visually learn and immerse herself in a field that she hopes to pursue.
Joy Barroso, Front Desk & Social Media
Joy is a San Diego native and is studying to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in International Business. She has years of experience in the spa industry as well as an excellent track record of courtesy customer service skills. Joy enjoys creating content and handling Beauty and Body social media pages. Joy has been working and growing with Beauty and Body for a year now and plans to continue to learn and help others with their beauty needs.
Denny
His career started in 1982 working as a protege for Allen Benfield Bush who was inducted into the Vidal Sassoon Hall of Fame as one of the top hair educators in the world. He has worked an many hair shows across Southern California as have been a hair care educator for major hair care manufacturers. Denny opened his own salon, Citadel salon, in 1986 and in 1998. I opened Salon Forte that is now Beauty and Body Med Spa and Salon. Over 36 years in the business, Denny continues to take classes to stay sharp with the current styles. He specializes in precision haircutting using volumetrics.
Lisa
Lisa has been a hairdresser for 22 years specializing in color and cutting. She taught hair cutting classes for two years with Tony & Guy and is a certified Loreal Colorist. Lisa is also certified through Peter Coppola to do Keratin smoothing treatments. With plenty of experience, Lisa is confident in making your hair look great!
Debbi
She has been in the business and a color educator for over 30 years. Debbie has worked with incredible companies such as Toni & Guy and Loreal. She is passionate about her work and even a better friend to her clients. She loves being a stylist who is not afraid to take risks and try new ideas.
April
April has been doing hair for 15 years. She attended Great Lengths Academy in Beverly Hills and specializes in Great Lengths Extensions. April loves to use her artistic talents in color and cutting. In her spare time, you can find her rescuing parrots and educating the public on how to care for our feathered friends.
Angela
Angela is a California State Licensed Esthetician since 2004. She earned her national Master Esthetician status, Dr. Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage certification, and is a Clinical Herbalist. While she has a background in medical aesthetics, her philosophy is integrative with a holistic approach. She is a specialist in lymphatic drainage both post-operatively and for routine skin maintenance.
Brett
Brett been working in San Diego has a hairstylist for the past 11 years. She specializes in color, blondes and hi-lites, short haircuts, long sexy layered cuts, men’s cuts, and styling. She also offers the Cezanne smoothing treatment. Brett is a San Diego Girl who loves working behind the chair. “I have been beyond blessed with the most amazing clients who make me thankful every day for my career”.
